Technology Transfer and Collaboration (Mexico City Campus)

Arizona Technology Enterprises (AzTE) is the exclusive technology transfer company for ASU. AzTE has worked with a number of universities from across the world sharing best practices and commercialization strategies. AzTE has worked with Monterrey Tech since 2012. Professor Pedro Ponce has visited AzTE to take informal trainings to operate a tech transfer unit. The collaboration with Professor Ponce has resulted in two published papers and a faculty technology transfer manual.

This collaboration has been very productive over the past three years. The following are publications by both the ASU owner and Mexican partner:

  • P. Ponce, K. Polasko and A. Molina, "End user perceptions towards smart grid technology: Acceptance adoption, risk and trust," Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Volume 60, 2016.
  • P. Ponce, A. Molina and K. Polasko, "Technology Transfer Motivation Analysis Based on Fuzzy Type 2 Signal Detection Theory," AI & Society, April 18, 2015.
  • P. Ponce, A. Molina, K. Polasko and M. Ramirez, "Intellectual Property Basic Manual for Engineering Researchers in Universities," Electronic Book 2014.
  • P. Ponce, A. Molina and K. Polasko, "Efficient Operation in University Technology Transfer," International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science and Software Engineering, Volume 3, Issue 10, October 25, 2013.
