ASU and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) Partnership
ASU and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) are committed to exploring innovative student exchange, public outreach, and research projects. In 2021, ASU Provost Nancy Gonzales signed an agreement with the ITAM to initiate collaborations between the two institutions in student and faculty exchange and joint academic and research projects. In 2023, the two institutions completed a COIL course on reporting on the binational relationship, which was supported by a grant from the 100,000 Strong in the Americas program at the U.S. Department of State. ASU and ITAM have also partnered on public events covering topics including regional security, politics, international relations, and journalism.
